Some examples of non-luminous objects would be the Earth, bricks, plastic, metals, the moon, planets, human beings, a ticket, paper, pencil, pen, a chair, a tree and mirrors.

The reason that they are non-luminous is because they do not make their own light and we can only see them because light from other sources is reflected off of them.
