Grandma Moses was invited by Edward Murrow to be on his TV show called See It Now.
She became very old (lived to be 101) and was liked by everybody. Moses was her husband's family name. Her maiden name was Anna Mary Robertson. Friends and family called her Mother Moses or Grandma Moses but it was a newspaper reporter who dubbed her Grandma Moses officially after a press gathering at one of her first shows.
