Laptop . book , mag , mobile ,music etc.. ,If lying down doesnt help try sleepingon your left side. ifyou cannot possibly get to sleep then try sitting up on the sofa watching tv or a film .It is better to sleep the pain off once your glass of milk because when youwake up you feel soo much ebtter but somepeople cannot sleep thepain and ifso just dowhat said. Try to avoid hot spicy foods. Take simple medications like Rennie's, Gaviscon or Zoton which is available on the counter. If it persists see your Doctor for further investigations as one may have reflux giving rise to heartburn
