Leaving or moving to a house and leaving your dog behind, kicking and hitting it, not feeding it or giving it water, and having too many dogs, if you purposefully try to get it in a dog fight, teasing it, or not healing it free from any wounds. Why?
Abuse is starvation, abandonment, puppy mills, dog fighting, hunting unless it's done humanely, scientific testing for things we don't need basicaly.

I would say that this is a false supposition. Most abusers of animals would not be saying anything. But there is the case of people that tie their dog in the back yard and leave them for years with little care of the emotional damage they do to their dog. These lower forms of life may complain, without realizing that they are some of the worst abusers.
