I have the same kind of hair well my hair isn't really that thick okay here are some good hairstyles
1 ponytail
2 half up half down with a cute clip
3 french braid
4 side ponytail
5 messy bun
and those are five nice everyday hairstyles
or you could NOT look like a ogre an straighten your hair. THEN try to do those styles or just wear your hair down AFTER you straighten it.
OR
You can use a curling iron ( I have thick hair too, and I use a 1 inch)
Straightning Iron (1 1/2 inch)
Waver ( Bed Head)
Crimper (medium size)
