What are some good scenes for a vampire book?

When I think of vampires, I think about some of the affects/problems/disavantiges they have:

1. they are allergic to garlic
2. they can't be in direct sunlight

Also think of where they might sleep eat or even places they would go

BE CREATIVE!

The most important things in any scene are"

1. advancing the plot
2. developing character.

If a scene does either of these things then it is a successful thing.

For vampires then you have to show how the vampire achieves or fails in its objectives and how such actions affect or illustrates its character. In the instance of Count Dracula one powerful scene is where the Demeter comes ashore. It shows how the Count arrives in England, his particular weakness in regards to moving water, his special abilities and the ruthless tenacity with which he is willing to achieve his goals.

Coupled with this is something we call Pathetic Fallacy. This deals with how the setting and its mechanisms helps further plot and character through atmosphere, mood, and inter-relationships. Need I make the point here that most vampire stories have gothic (and I mean Gothic) and Victorian settings.
