Probably, but then again maybe not. It depends on the dogs. Labradors are good dogs with everything: small animals, babies, children...you name it!

Toy poodle

I can't say. All dogs have a very good sense of smell, big or small. Springer Spaniels (Small to medium sized dogs) and Bloodhounds (Large dogs) both have a good sense of smell.
The Affenpinscher is a good family dog, but do best with older children. In general small dogs are not often recommended for households with children.
Cats, basically, are better at catching mice, rats, etc., than dogs because they are faster, more agile and can get into places many dogs would not fit. Plus, just as rodents have the ability to climb a variety of objects, cats are able also to climb whereas dogs are not usually climbers. Some dogs are definitely very good at catching rodents, but on the whole, cats do usually out shine their canine buddies.
They like to eat flies.
Chihuahua, but they can be loud sometimes. also a Boston terrier if you like short haired dogs.
All dogs, especially small ones, need lots of space and light. They also need access to clean water and ventilation. They also need as much exercise as large dogs, and can get aggressive if not trained and treated like a big dog.
Beagles are usually very happy dogs. Generally not "hyper" but not "sloths" either. They make great pets. They are high energy small "big" dogs. Usually not considered "yappy" dogs. They are a good mid range dog. They are good playing with smaller dogs such as pugs and Chihuahuas and are also good playing with bigger dogs such as Labradors
