It really depends on what you like. I love taking cruises but they're not for everybody. If you don't like cruises I would recommend going someplace you like or want to learn more about and just immerse yourself in the culture and food and language (if there is a difference). I would also recommend taking either walking tours around cities you like or a bus tour (but not like a tour bus like a day tour).
