Since childhood I have always loved books by Enid Blyton, of course, in addition to the books of Dr. Seuss. The story she wrote is very inspiring and very educational, even now my kids also I gave the book by Enid Blyton.

There are many good books of poems for kids. Books like, Where the Sidewalk Ends, A Light in the Attic, When We Were Very Young, and Rainy Day Poems are all great poetry books for kids.
Some parts aren't really great for kids under 14. (bad languge, drugs, ect.) But the books are amazing and very read worthy.
