Brushing two times a day, flossing your teeth everyday, gum cleaning, using a good mouthwash, make sure to clean your mouth after every meal. Eating good food which is healthy for your teeth and gums, avoiding sugary treats, junk food etc. Alcohol, smoking etc. can be very bad for your oral as well as overall health.
