Peru's history began over fifteen thousand years ago when people crossed the Bering Straight. Those people were nomadic hunters and gatherers.

What kind of project? If it is just writing a paper about Peru than start with where it is located and what surrounds it. Next discuss the geography. Does it have mountains, jungles, deserts, etc...? Move from there to the history beginning with the earliest known tribes and settlements. This will naturally lead to the culture and economy which is the why the people thrived and the country survived but while you are discussing this do not forget to continue adding your history in there until you get to modern day Peru. Take your time and do the work. I am not Peruvian nor am I even of South American or Latino decent but like a great many other places in the world recognize that this country has a vast, rich and very interesting history.
