Many horses are not used for many things these days, other than the joy of riding. Horses used to be used all the time to pull wagons and carriage's they would also pull machines in the crops to help grow them. they were also important means of transportation.
There are many jobs in horses you can be a policewoman/man, dentist, instructor, farrier and there are some more.
