Some of the miracles the messiah did were as follows.
Change the water into wine.
He raised the dead.
He healed the lepers.
He walked on the water.
And he calmed the waters from a storm.
Most certainly. His miracles were a sign of His power over life and death, but they were not required to proove who He was. His miracles were done out of compassion and of necessity, like the loaves and the fishes.

because may be 1) reveals by the Father that Jesus is the Messiah, 2) intuitively know that Jesus is the long waited Messiah, 3) Jesus told him he is the Messiah or show him some miracles to him and he instantly believe Jesus is the Messiah 4) he had a dream last night that today he will meet the Messiah 5) Philip believed the testament of John the baptist who said that Jesus is the Messiah, I think he is one of the most faithful disciple of John the baptist. Jesus saw his total faith that Philip believed that he is the Messiah, therefore Jesus choose him.
The only people against the miracles Jesus did during his ministry were the Pharisees, Sadducee and some other self-righteous muckety mucks. Do you get the idea? The sinners and desperate and those who understood Jesus was the sent one (Messiah) and the Son of God did not object to the miracles. The miracles were revelations of Jesus being God and that God can overcome nature and He gets the glory. It were the egocentric yahoos who did not like the miracles. They needed one too, one of their hearts being softened, humbled and loved.

The Jews are waiting for the messiah to come. Christians believe Jesus was the messiah.
Jesus would be received better than back in his time because we now know of all the miracles he performed and all the great things he did. The Catholic church teaches us that he is the Messiah and the Lord

With the exception of a few miracles that were performed through the apostles and those performed by Our Lord, there is no tally list of miracles and through whom they were granted in the Bible.
Some of them were not yet willing to admit that Jesus is Messiah and savior. It was also prophesied that some of them would reject the Messiah.
