Aristotle wrote on a variety of topics, mostly in the sciences, but also in ethics, metaphysics, aesthetics, and politics.
His most famous philosophical works are Metaphysics, Poetics, Politics, and the Nicomachean Ethics. In logic, his various works are collectively known as the Organon. In the sciences, he wrote most notably the Physics as well as The Parva Naturalia and Meterologica.
Aristotle's emphasis on reason and observation contradicted some Christian beliefs that prioritized faith and revelation. Additionally, Aristotle's views on metaphysics and ethics often conflicted with Christian teachings, leading some medieval Christians to view his writings as a threat to their religious beliefs.
