All over the place. This is the worst application that has ever been created. It infiltrates every area of the os and a flood of reg keys. When I bought my Dell I specifically told them not to load any AOL on my PC. As a standard, they load it and is good for 6 months. I didn't want it at all because it is pure garbage.
To import a .reg file, you can use the Windows Registry Editor by double-clicking the .reg file, which prompts you to confirm the addition of its contents to the registry. Alternatively, you can use the command prompt with the command reg import filepath.reg, replacing "filepath.reg" with the actual path to the file. Additionally, PowerShell can import .reg files using the reg import command as well. Always ensure to backup the registry before making changes to avoid potential issues.

The Windows Registry is primarily composed of several hive files that store configuration settings and options for the operating system, applications, and hardware. These hive files are typically located in the C:\Windows\System32\config directory and include files like SYSTEM, SOFTWARE, SECURITY, SAM, and DEFAULT. When backing up the Windows Registry, these files are saved as .reg files, which are plain text files that can be used to import or export registry settings.
Reg Reg Askew's birth name is Reginald Askew.
My guess would be to go to registry editor by opening Run and typing "regedit" and then selecting "Find..." in the Tools menu and searching the fake antivirus's name and deleting all of the files where its name comes up. Such as...you look up "Primal AntiV" as your fake antivirus. It says: Cprimal Atir... Cprimal Atir... Cprimal Bet... Primal AntiV... Rprima Reg... Tprimal Edit... and the one with the strike-through is highlighted then you delete ONLY that file. And once you delete all the files with that name in there you select save and then quit. Note: Some registry editors do not save or automatically save when a value is deleted.
