Are Florida Career College credits transferable?

Florida Career College is not a regionally accredited school and will not be recognized by other regionally accredited colleges and universities, and may not be recognized by some employers. Florida Career College offers credits for $300-$400 per credit for diplomas or credits not recognized by any other local reputable schools. Most community colleges offer credits for $65-$100 that can be transferred to other accredited colleges and universities within the same region. Florida Career College is not a "college," but a vocational technical school whose credits cannot be transferred to an accredited four year university or college. Is Rets College accredited?

RETS College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. However, the school does not have a regional accreditation. This may present some problems if you wish to transfer to a traditional college or university, or continue you education to a higher degree at the regionally accredited institutions. Personally, I recommend to search for colleges and universities that have a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers.

Who accredited the college?

How does ACICS nationally accredited colleges general education classes compare to regionally accredited colleges?

What I can say is that the regional accreditation is the preferred accreditation for colleges and universities to have, being that they are held to a higher standard. Thus, the coursework and degree completed through a regionally accredited institution will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. Doing the same through an institution that does not have a regional accreditation could present some problems for students in the future, especially with some employers and if they wish to continue their education at the regionally accredited schools. My personal opinion; you should stay with the regionally accredited institutions.

Do accredited colleges offer online degrees?

Many accredited colleges offer online degrees in basic majors. While some majors will be able to be completed fully on line, others may require you to attend labs and lectures at your local college branch. Several accredited colleges offer online degrees. For example, Independence University has degrees in business and healthcare that can be pursued online. The university has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, a body that is recognized by the US Department of Education. You can explore the web to know which colleges are accredited and offer online programs.
