The main beliefs of Christianity are that Jesus was the Christ, the Messiah sent to earth by God to bring sinners back to him, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loved mankind so much that he was willingly crucified in our place. Mankind is sinful by nature and it took the blood of a perfect sacrifice to make us holy enough to enter into the presence of God. Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life even though he was tempted just as much as we are. He was born of a virgin mother and had no stain of original sin to make him unclean like we are. He died in our place and was raised back to life by God on the third day after his death. He is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father (God), except by him. Just as he was raised in a perfect immortal body, so we too will be raised when he returns to take the church to heaven.

Another answerChristians believe that God Is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

As the Heavenly Father, He Created us & Sustains us. As the Son, He Came down from Heaven to Save us from Sin & Eternal Damnation. As the Holy Spirit, He Sanctifies us.
Basic belief in Christianity is the God created the world, sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us, and then Jesus rose from the grave. The reason He had to die for us is because He cannot have any imperfections in His presence. That means if you had any sin, you couldn't be with Him. Obviously, we all have sinned, thus we can't be with Him. So He had to sacrifice His Son to take all the punishment for all the sins of the world, because His Son is perfect. And Jesus rose from the grave to continue helping us, and to give us hope.
