Before going any further, I should note that the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
But to answer the specific question, some disadvantages include:
None.
The primary advantages of broadband networks over baseband networks include greater distances and bandwidths, while disadvantages involve high maintenance costs and requires modems.
Disadvantages of wireless networks include the potential for radio interference due to weather, other wireless devices, or obstructions like walls.
It can capture viruses
The two main disadvantages of wireless networks are lower securityand lower data transfer rate.
One of the biggest disadvantages of large scale wireless sensor networks is the fact that they are vulnerable to unauthorized access. Also it relies on the complexity of logistics involving selective replacement of sensors.
They are more expensive and are slower than Ethernet.
Advantage: Easy to set up Cheap Disadvantage: Lack of security. Thus ad-hoc network is also called unsecure networks.
Disadvantages in tiny area networks are mostly in the size as it does not take as much room as huge area network would this becomes a problem when you want to fend of predators such as bears who see tiny networks as their prey
disadvantage formal communicative network
Metropolitan Area Network also known as MAN is a composition of several connected Local Area Networks. Its advantages are seamless file sharing over large networks and users can share high-speed internet connection. Its high cost of installation is one of its disadvantages.
The Advantages are- *You get way more data usage, text and calls and you don't need to spend up some big bucks. *It is much easier and quicker, (I found that with the Telstra and Vodafone plans were best for myself.) *It is cheaper and can save you a fortune and most networks are offering great deals! The Disadvantages- *It can be a hassle to try to get started but some networks make it alot easier! *There may be a joining or leaving fee depending on you network. *There can be hidden extras in some networks so always do your research and read the fineprint/term and cond. OTHER THAN THAT, I DEFINITELY THINK THAT IT IS A WONDERFUL IDEA IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE!
