Turn them upside-down, split them down the middle from head to end of tail, take out the tomalley (the green stuff). Combine tomalley with soda crackers and garlic butter. Stuff the lobster with the mixture. Wrap the claws (individually) with tinfoil, the tail with tinfoil, then the body with tinfoil Bake at 400 for about 15-20 minutes (stuffing will brown, body will turn red). Enjoy!
Like most shellfish, lobster meat is very delicate and cooks fast. I usually steam lobster oppose to broiling because it tends to come out dry, rubbery and overcooked when broiled. Lobster meat should be thawed out before cooking and can be done quickly by soaking in cold water. Only steam lobster for no more than five minutes and that's whole lobster with the shell. If you're cooking only lobster tails then steam for 3-4 minutes. For a great dipping sauce melt butter, add lemon and diced garlic :)

As long as you follow the recipe instructions properly - specifically the cooking time and temperature - the integrity of the meat will not be compromised. To ensure that the meat is as tender as possible, be sure to thaw frozen lobster tails for at least six hours in the refrigerator, or seal them in a plastic bag and place them in warm water for an hour. Once they are thawed experiment with the following cooking methods to find the one you are most comfortable with. The more relaxed you are about preparing a dish the better it will taste.

So it will save you one step. So I would suggest looking for recipes where the lobster is pre-cooked, just incase. Save one of each that you believe sounds best: one precooked lobster, one where you have to cook it yourself.
