1. Eliminate bias by eliminating the problem: keep the workplace segregated. Separate but equal equals success.
2. Women in the workplace- Women should be encouraged to do things at work that make them feel as if they are at home. If they are allowed to do the usual things they enjoy doing at home (i.e. cooking, cleaning, etc), then they will feel much more comfortable and will increase their productivity.
3. Research has shown that using an office pet or mascot can build camaraderie. Perhaps choose something off-beat or quirky like a stray dog or a domesticated squirrel to help separate your work environment from any place else.
4. Kids rule- Encourage your employees to post pictures of their kids in bathing suits all over the office. Children are the soft spots in many people's hearts and images of them all wet with laughter will lighten up they day. Get creative with the spots where you post them. Employee's will love playing an "I Spy" game of where they can find their kids pictures. PS- Keep it interesting. Try taking a fellow coworkers kid's picture and moving it around on them, like placing it on the bathroom stall doors or on the sole of your shoes.

Sometimes, if you want to reduce the possibility of discrimination, knowledge is key. Researching and experience is your best tools to counteract discriminatory behaviour.

This means that individuals experience discrimination due to the combination of these identities, which can result in unique forms of bias and exclusion.
