There are many things causing bird populations to decline all over the world. Some of them are loss of habitat, changing climate, polluting of food sources, disruption of migration paths, over hunting, and predation from domestic cats.
Actually all of them are extinct. The birds related to the dodo birds are still alive. They died because of a natural equation on Earth.
if not mistakn the mid 60s
I am not sure if they had enemies, but in my opinion, actually humans, were their real enemies. Actually they once lived abundantly on an island, but when men came, they killed the dodo birds at a very fast rat, causing the dodo birds to become extinct.
A lot of people are killing them. People take their eggs for food so no birds will be born. The bird's predators are eating the and killing them.
none there extinct
Elephant birds have been extinct since at least the 17th century. ---- Hey, I saw that answer on Wikipedia!
It is generally accepted that all the dinosaurs (apart form the birds) became extinct as a result of an astrobleme event.
Anyway it is too late now.
Non avian dinosaurs became extinct 65.5 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous. However, birds are considered dinosaurs. Because birds still exist, dinosaurs are not completely extinct.
Neither there both extinct
The Dodo is believed to have become extinct around 1681 AD.
In a way no due to it just evolving into modern birds, it was in a kingdom aves (birds) but the exact Archaeopteryx is not a living thing anymore.
