There are actually quite a few place to get online writing jobs, most are freelance but you may be able to find an actual "job". Demand Studios, Writers Research Group, Associated Content, Squidoo and HubPages are all professional websites that pay well for online writing jobs. Writers can also offer their services as freelancers, networking with content sites, webmasters and small businesses that need professional content for their online properties.
Expect the same process of applying for employment of online jobs as traditional jobs. You submit a resume with application and a job interview. Anyone promising work with no skills that you have to pay for is a scam

It's true that there are many non-legitimate online jobs out there and you have to be careful. The first thing is, remember you are looking for a job and they are going to pay you so never pay someone else that promises to give you an online job that will make you millions! Real online jobs do exist and it's just a matter of doing your homework.
