Which Christians? Different Christians denominations have different opinions on who is God, who is Christ, what is our purpose in life, etc.; you can hardly expect them to all have the same opinion on scientific subjects. Some believe it didn't happen, some believe it did. It varies a lot.
As a general rule, yes. On more specific events opinions become clouded.
Lutherans are Christians but as with all Christians and religions everyone is different and have different opinions on the matter. So it depends on who you ask. It can also differ based on which country you are in.

There are many different branches of Christianity that have MANY different opinions about whether fighting or punishment is in "good terms" with God, Jesus, the Pope, etc.. Also, if the individual Christian follower has different opinions about what Christianity really is, then there really is no true answer about whether it's right to fight in wars or not to them.- -Christians might feel like fighting in wars deserves death, the exact opposite, or something in between. So it's all a matter of OPINION.
I love the band, the not only have songs that christians can relate to but non-christians as well. There music is enjoyable to listen to with meaningful lyrics. Also, live they are phenomenal. I haven't been to a better concert.
