Good students in class pay attention to everything that the teacher/lecturer says or does and comments or asks questions often. They'll lean toward the speaker and meet the speaker's eyes. Also good students will be quiet unless called upon or questioned by a fellow student. I don't believe that there are any physical characteristics that make a student good, as one A+ student may look the total opposite from another of the same grades. As for emotional aspects a good student is determined to get the grade that they are aiming for and won't back down easily. Most have plans for further schooling and the career that they wish to pursue. At least that's what I've seen.
