There is mot much figurative language in this novel because of the time period and the setting. They don't really use that much figurative language in this novel. The time period of this novel is in Kansas for the beginning of the novel and it is in the 1900's. Then Dorothy the main character travels to a magical land called the land of oz but they are still in the same time period.
A comparative adverb indicates a greater degree of the verb or adjective that it modifies. Some examples of modifying "good" with a comparative adverb would be: really good, extremely good, very good.

It is almost impossible to give other ideas for an ethos realted paper. To correctly write an ethos paper you must be a "expert" of some sort on the topic. If you have no credibility as an expert on the subject, your ethos paper will have no credibility.
