I have broken up with my last three girlfriends even though at the time, I still had feelings for them. In the first relationship, I was cheated on, which is something that I do not tolerate. I will never take someone back if they cheated on me, regardless of the circumstances. In the next two relationships, we had frequent arguments and didn't really have any common interests. I recognized that in the long-term, the relationship would likely not work out, and that we would probably just grow to hate each other.
