Egypt's and Israels animosity arose from the man who founded Israel. Though Israel's nemesis wasn't originally Egypt, that area has always despised Israel because of Abraham's two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael was an illegitimate child who was forced from Israel, and Isaac was the blessed child God promised Abraham. So naturally, sibling rivalry and circumstances led to animosity behind the two men, whose ideas and bloodlines eventually founded the two countries Israel and Egypt.

Who won the war between Egypt and Israel?

There have been several, but Israel has been victorious in all of them. The debate on the Arab-Israeli War of 1973 is discussed more fully at the Related Question below: Who won the war between Egypt and Israel in 1973?

Which countries attacked Israel?

From Iran, to Morocco, all those countries are sworn enemies of Israel, and the rest of the Muslim world, although not a sworn enemy, has neither diplomatic ties, nor do they recognize the country's existence, the only exceptions being Turkey and Egypt. Although all Arabic speaking + Iran countries are officially enemies of Israel, the countries that are the biggest threat right now, are Iran and Syria, and to a certain extent Saudi Arabia, whose inhabitants have been agitating for an outright invasion of Israel for quite sometime now.

Who would win in a war between Egypt and Israel?

Unknown, but it is an unlikely scenario as Egypt and Israel buried the hatchet long ago. Previously, Egypt and Israel fought several wars, most notably the Yom Kippur War of 1973 when Egypt carried out a brilliant surprise attack on the Israeli-occupied Sinai Peninsula. Israel eventually drove Egypt back but at a very heavy cost. After Egypt and Israel made peace, the Sinai was ceded back to Egypt and the two countries have not fought since.
