Many cities have different wasy of honoring veterans. Usually the honoring veterans happens on veterans day, November 11th. Some communities put flowers on the grave of fallen veterans to honor them. Others hang American flags outside their front porch.
You honor the veterans by showing them some respect on this day. For all the soldiers that died for us in war. That's why this day is known today as Veteran's Day.
