some rules you must obey at home are no playing ball in the house, don't write on the walls, no running in the house and don't act like animals
The canons of the church are its laws or rules
Most do, but some are only 'civilized' when society has a method of punishing those who break the rules, and some will break the rules anyway.
It means you must obey ( some regulation, rule etc. ).
Rules are usually there for a reason. Some rules are there for your own safety or that of others or for the protection of property. Others are there so that people can learn. In the end, following school rules will allow you and other students to learn in a productive environment.

Knights had lots of rules. They varied with the laws of the land, and they varied with cultural rules, and they varied according to whether the knights were members of orders or not, and if they were members of orders, they varied by order. Just to give an idea, the knights of the order we commonly call the knights Templar, were not allowed to have any money; they had to go to church regularly, meaning several times every day; they could not marry or have girlfriends; they had to obey any order given by their masters; and they had to sleep in their armor so they were always prepared for battle instantly. Pretty dreadful sounding, isn't it? On the other hand, some people became knights just because some king liked them, and they really did not have to do anything but obey the laws of the country and obey the king. Some knights, but by no means all, felt bound by the rules of chivalry. This could have meant they were bound by the rules of the virtues of knights, honor, and courtly love, which is kind of hard to explain, but meant a sort of passionate love, but without the passion. Yes, knights had rules, and some were rather weird rules. I have attached a couple links below.
Well Connecticut was a charter colony and the disadvantages were that they could worship anyone or anything they wanted to and they had no rules to obey. They should of enforced rules and said, "Hey you can have religious freedom but you still have to obey the rules we are enforcing or you can't have religious freedom any more".
you must be a Hindu.
States must contribute some of their own money, and they must obey rules set by Congress in order to receive these grants. For example, the federal government contributes 90 percent of the money to build interstate highways, but states must comply with a list of regulations, such as the width of driving lanes and the quality of building materials.
Medieval European women were expected to obey the Church and the laws of the land. There were probably a few people who expected them to obey their husbands, but there were also probably a few people who expected the husbands to obey their wives. I know this might sound like a joke, but the wedding vows went both ways and included "obey" both ways in at least some parts of Europe and some Churches.
Puritans wanted to purify the church and not have some many rules. Seperatists wanted to seperate from the church and make their own denomination
