Slovakia is home to multiple strange traditions such as White Saturday, Flower Sunday, Big Friday, and Big Night Sunday.

White Saturday is an important easter day in slovakia. this was the day that villagers would take the opportunity to light fires and burn everything old and harmful.

Flower Sunday is another big easter day in slovakia. On this day villagers would bring twigs and branches called 'bahniatka' to church.

Big Friday is a day that was believed that warlocks and witches would come out.

Big Night Sunday is held on Easter Sunday. This is the day that all food that had been prepared the day before was taken to the church to be blessed.
