You can make your dog hug by sitting and patting your shoulders, encouraging the dog to put her/his paws up on them. When they do, say 'Hug' and praise them. Make sure not to fall over; if you do this you may lose your dog's trust in doing this trick. This is probably not the best trick to use if you have a Great Dane or any larger dogs. This may trigger a bad habit to jump up on people so you may not want to teach them this. I taught my puppy to do this, and she doesn't jump up. Yet again, all dogs are different. *Hope this helped!*
