Anyone interested in becoming fitter should first discuss making some changes with their doctor, and then gradually begin to adjust their lifestyle. The most important factors in increasing fitness is eating a portion-controlled, balanced diet and getting a good amount of exercise every day, to build muscle and cardiovascular fitness, and help keep excess weight off.
