Temperature sensors are used in a variety of applications. In the home, they can be found everywhere from ovens and grills to hair straighteners. Commercially, they are used in furnaces, laboratories and greenhouses, amongst others.
I think.....temperature sensor :P
It is a test of sensors related to the operating safety of a ship. E.g. you test the temperature sensors and pressure sensors of the engines of a ship to verify that they report the correct values and sound the alarm and/or shut down the engines if the value is outside the limits.
The Centigrade or Celsius scale is the temperature scale typically used for scientific work. On the Centigrade scale water freezes at zero degrees and boils at 100 degrees.
Average Room Temperature... Typically average room temperature is about 72 degrees Fahrenheit or roughly 21 degrees Celsius. It can also be 70 degrees Fahrenheit, too.
A clinical thermometer typically shows a maximum reading while a lab thermometer typically shows the temperature right now. When you take a thermometer out of a patients mouth (or other place that you are measuring the temperature) you most often want the maximum temperature to keep showing until you reset the instrument. When using a lab oratory thermometer you want the instrument to react as quickly as possible so that changes (up and down) can be noticed and recorded.
All of what sensors? There are dozens of different sensors in cars: O2 sensors, oil pressure/temperature, coolant temperature, fuel pressure, and so forth. All are different, and each car typically uses sensors that are different from sensors in other cars.
Remote sensors, typically mounted on satellites.
Oxygen, temperature, speed, throttle position.

According to our adviser, Prof. Joel Barrera, the types of temperature sensors which is widely used in automotive industries are: 1. Thermometer 2. Thermocouples 3. Thermistors 4. Resistance Temperature Detector 5. Thermostats
Modern vehicles are equipped with multiple temperature sensors. They are used to advise the engine computer and driver on the condition of the vehicle systems. Common automotive temperature sensors include coolant, transmission, ambient air temperature and engine oil.
Elephants have pain and temperature sensors because, they have big tusks.
Temperature sensors are usually locate in the water-pump housing.
I don't think any substance is used in digital thermometer but according to my views "HEAT SENSORS" are used to measure the temperature.
Smart sensors include environmental sensors (such as temperature and humidity sensors), motion sensors, light sensors, proximity sensors, and biometric sensors (such as fingerprint or facial recognition sensors). Each type of sensor is designed to detect specific physical characteristics or conditions and provide data for various applications.
Thermocouple elements are temperature sensors that are useful over a wide range of temperatures. They are used with thermocouple temperature probes, bimetallic devices that are suitable for various temperature sensing applications.
Temperature sensors are installed in nuclear reactors as part of the design. An array of thermocouple-based sensors is not uncommon.
