Photosynthesis happens in two stages, also called reactions. The first stage is the light-dependent stage. In this stage light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll and converted into chemical energy, and water is split to produce hydrogen. The unwanted oxygen from the water is released. The second stage is the light-independent stage. In this stage the chemical energy and the hydrogen from the first stage are used to convert carbon dioxide into carbohydrates, such as glucose. More details can be found on this site by searching for photosynthesis.
The first main reaction in photosynthesis is that the plant using it creates food with sunlight. The second main reaction of photosynthesis is that the plant makes carbon dioxide(Co2).
1) Light-dependent reactions (capture energy from sunlight.) 2) Light-independent reactions (use energy from the light dependent reactions to make sugars.)
There are actually three reactions - water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide.
Two of the major reactions of photosynthesis are a high energy triose and phosphate. Other reactions include water and oxygen.
i know that the 2nd major type is the calvin cycle
2 main phases are light reaction and dark reaction .
It is photosynthesis where light is not needed. It is a nickname for the Calvin-Benson cycle which is the second main step of photosynthesis. It utilizes the ATP and NADPH produced from the light-reactions as well as carbon dioxide from the air in order to produce glucose.
Light Reactions and the Calvin Cycle Reactions.
The main product of the carbon reactions will depend on the type of reaction. For instance, in photosynthesis the products are oxygen and glucose.
The reactants of light-dependent reactions in photosynthesis are H20 (water), ADP, and NADP+.
Mitochondria
6CO2 form glucose
The initial reactions in photosynthesis are the light dependent reactions and the light independent reactions
Photosynthesis is one of them

The light dependent and the light independent reactions.
The reactions of photosynthesis occur in the chloroplast in the cells in plants.

NADPH ans ATP formed in light reactions are used in the second stage of dark reactions.Carbondioxide from the air is the main reactant of photosynthesis.
