An aspredinid is a member of the Aspredinidae, a small American family of catfishes, often known as banjo catfishes, comprising around 39 species.
Syringa vulgaris is the scientific, Latin or binomial name for the common lilac.The plant is native to southern Europe. But it handles introduction into and transplanting throughout much of Canada and the United States of America. Basically, it asks for exposure to full sun from soil that's well drained and slightly acidic. In return, the shrub flowers fragrantly in May, fruits, and leafs out in dark green. It also provides garden and landscape interest with thick stems on a grey bark whose surface shows raised patterns of lenticels [breathing pores] and leaf scars.
Alligators originated from the sub-family Caimaninae. Several extinct forms are known, including Purussaurus, a giant Miocene genus that grew to 12 metres (39 ft) and the equally large Mourasuchus, which had a wide duck-like snout.
