A claw hammer is a lever when using the claw to pull a nail. A crowbar or pry bar is also a lever. Automobile friction jacks are also levers. Your arm is a biological (biomechanical) lever.
Class-1 lever: The fulcrum is between the applied force and the load. Examples: see saw, claws of a hammer, crow bar, scissors, pliers or forceps.
Class-2 lever: The load is between the fulcrum and the applied force. Examples: bottle opener, wheelbarrow, nutcracker.
Class-3 lever: The applied force is between the fulcrum and the load. Examples: tweezers, fishing rod, stapler, tongs.
Whenever we say about lever, we recall three. One is power that we apply, load that to be tackled and fulcrum about which the whole process relies.
Now logically there will be three chances for each one to be in between the other two. Hence three types of levers.
give example of each of the three classes of levers

There are three different Classes of levers. Class One Levers have a fulcrum in the middle. Class Two Levers have a resistance in the middle. Class Three Levers have effort in the middle.

on the position of the fulcrum

Lever belongs to the category of simple machines. They are three types of levers 1. First class levers 2. Second class levers 3. Third class levers In the first class levers fulcrum is in between applied force and load. common examples are Crowbar , Pair of scissors , SeeSaw , Skull and neck in our body .

There are multiple classes of levers, which can be used for varying situations. For example, some can be used for lifting tools, whereas others can be used for pulling large amounts of weight. Often, it is not otherwise possible to move large amounts of weight without these varying uses of levers, which speaks to their usefulness.
