All pollution is not the same - sheer tonnage can be balanced against impact (dust vs. hydrogen sulfide) and make comparison of pollution sources, importance and impact difficult or impossible to compare.
Well, as you are probably aware, air pollution takes many different forms and arises from a variety of sources. In terms of overall range and extents of impacts, however, it is my opinion that burning of fossil fuels (coal, gasoline, etc..) is the single largest source of air pollutants. These fuels cause smog, acid rain, soot and particulates increases, greenhouse gas emissions, and dispersal of some heavy metal contaminants. Fossil fuels are widely used for heating, transportation, electricity generation, manufacturing and other industries. Thus, they are used pervasively in our society and their use is difficult (but not impossible) to curtail. Also, various measures can be taken to help make fossil fuel burning both cleaner and more efficiently but this comes at some monetary cost. Until we find cleaner alternatives to the present fossil fuels burning methods, most air pollutants plaguing the world today will continue to be a problem in the future.
there are many thing that cause air pollution. Like smokestacks from factories, acid rain, vehicles leaky gas, and smokers are a big problem of air pollution
fumes from planes factories the fumes from vehicles and the starting of fire can cause air pollution
Smoke and factories
Air pollution
gasoline
christchurch
fossil fuels
air evaporates and pollution causes acid rain!
Air pollution causes global warming. It then causes ozone depletion.
Air pollution impacts a community in many ways. Air pollution is a health hazard. Air pollution soils buildings. Air pollution negatively impacts tourism. Air pollution causes premature death of plant life. Air pollution also causes aging of buildings and structures.
Air pollution causes global warming. This then causes ozone depletion.
The main causes of air pollution are factories and cars that release toxic gases and chemicals into the air. The largest effects of air pollution are smog and acid rain.
Air pollution causes Global warming. This then further causes ozone depletion.
Ozone layer is related to air pollution. It causes pollutants in the air.
The gas that causes the biggest amount of air pollution has to be carbon dioxide. Due mainly to emissions from vehicles.
