It doent have to rhyme, becuz the first song you EVER write isnt going to. But its prefered that it does to keep the melody going. Minimum of 2 verses. It can have more, but its usually 2. Chorus & post chorus, and bridge, which is often called conclusion.

You usually change the melody (rythym) when you return to the chorus/post chorus after the bridge. Dont have to, but usually the artists do. Also, sometimes the rythym in verse 2 is different then verse one. This is somewhat rare but it happens. Listen to Hair by Lady Gaga. That is an example of the 2 verses changing melody.
