There are regular feast days, at the beginning of each Bahai month, and there are Holy Days, on the anniversary of events such as the Martyrdom of the Bab or the Birth of Baha'u'llah.
...And then there is Naw Ruz (New Year's day), which is also the first day of a month but is a festival in it's own right.

Yes fasting is also followed by many other religions as fasting has numerous medical benefits. Some of the religions that fast are Christianity, Budhism, Bahai Faith, Hinduism etc.

A Bahai is a disciple of Baha'u'llah and his son Abdu'l-Baha. Baha'u'llah was a Persian nobleman who founded the Bahai Faith, a new religion teaching world unity. He was imprisoned and banished and exiled, until he was eventually sent to Akka in the north of Israel. There's a good wikipedia page on the Bahai Faith.
