To update a chipped PSP, a person must use the system update function manually. From there, the chipped PSP must be upgraded to version 6.60.
The number at the end is just the region code, they are not upgraded versions, just ones made specifically for different areas.

Try updating the firmware, USB connectivity was added and upgraded through the releases.
You may have the game backwards or make sure no wires are missing or just send it to sony to see what is wrong! Make sure your PSP's firmware is fully upgraded.
You need your PSP to be upgraded to the latest firmware, in order to access the PSN and download games.
No the actual PS3 game is too complex for a PSP even the Playstation Vita will get an upgraded version of Little Big Planet when it is released in June 26 2012
If you connect your PSP to your PC with a USB cable, you can manually delete the upgrade installer from your memory card. This is not to be confused with downgrading the PSP firmware itself. Once you run an upgrade, the PSP's firmware is flashed and upgraded, deleting the update file won't do anything about that.
I'm sorry, but you can not downgrade it back to firmware 6.2 Any firmware after around version 5.5 cannot be downgraded i think. It also depends whether you have a psp 2000 or psp 3000 I have a psp 3000 and it was too late for me to downgrade
If you haven't upgraded past version 5.3, then you can use the Half-Byte Loader.
they've tried to make DS emulators for the psp,but since there aren't any buttons in the psp that the DS doesn't have, it's really hard to emulate the stylus (using the joystick),and as far as no-stylus using games, they run frustratingly slow, thus making it almost impossible to play.i think by now there aren't any projects for making an upgraded emulator, because they say its easier to just buy a DS.
