The Eastern Orthodox religions
Approx. 90 % of the citizens in Romania are Eastern Orthodox.
Religions: Christianity (mostly Eastern Orthodox, also Protestant); also Islam. However, about one-third of the people are nonreligious or atheist.
The peoples were Asians that migrated into Eastern Europe, and there religions were Christianity.
It is called the Orthodox Catholic Church, also known as the Eastern Orthodox or Greek Orthodox Church. It is not however affiliated with Rome or the Roman Catholic Church. They are 2 separate, but similar religions. They believe God is the ultimate head of the Church and recognize no Pope.
The Christian religions (of which the Eastern Orthodox Church is a part) do not have a name for God. Why would the only one true God have need of a name.

Eastern Orthodox is the main religion in Moscow, however, there are large Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim groups as well.
Christianity was the religion of Constantinople. The formed the Eastern Orthodox Church, attended it regularly, and had icons inside their house.
They are called Eastern Orthodox Christians or just Orthodox Christians.
Eastern Orthodox is a branch of Christianity.
