First be very sure that you belong to God through Jesus Christ His Son.
Pray to God at least once a day.
Read and study your bible daily if possible and ask the Lord to show you it's truths and store them in your heart.
As you are a sinner in your flesh (not in your spirit) ask forgiveness for your daily sins.
If at all possible tell everyone you meet about the Lord Jesus Christ and point them in His direction.
Help your neighbor (everyone who needs help).
Desire, Faith, Prayer,Baptism. A desire to know the truth, faith that through prayer you may know, and baptism to have your sins remitted.
All religions have disciples. A disciple is a follower of what ever religion they desire. Christian disciples follow Jesus Christ's teachings in the Bible. A disciple of Jesus has the responsibility to tell other people about Jesus Christ. In this way people can know what Jesus Christ did for the world and if called by God for salvation can respond to that call. Down through the centuries disciples of Christ have spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and many people now have eternal life. Christians believe that Jesus is "the way, the truth and the life" and that no one comes to the Father (God) except through Jesus ( John 14:6).
four
It tells of Jesus' life, read the four gospels in the bible and that is what the Passion of the Christ is over
no NO. The word "disciple" refers to a person trained in a specific "discipline", or a particular way of life. The way of life that Jesus Christ lived was one of self-sacrifice, teaching and healing persons, ultimately giving his life for his followers. Jesus was God's Son and he always lived in submission to God. I know very little about Mohammad, other that the fact that he considered Jesus to merely be a prophet of the God of Abraham.
To be a disciple of Christ, you need to seek your answers in the scriptures. John 3:36 says " Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." So reading this, you see that you need to believe. What does that mean? The second part of the scripture answers that, "obey". If you obey, than you are a follower and thus a disciple.
Yes. The first four books of the New Testament are the Gospels, which are four different but harmonious accounts of the life on earth of Jesus Christ.
The four stages of life are-infant, childhood, adolescence, adulthood. Hope this helps :)
Apostle John was the son of Zebedee and Salome. He was a fisherman by trade, as were his father and brother James, who was also called to be a disciple of Jesus. John is known as 'the disciple that Jesus loved' or the 'other disciple' which are the ways he refers to himself in the Gospel of John. John, along with Peter and James, were especially close to Jesus. John was present at the crucifixion and was entrusted with the care of Mary, Christ's mother. John also saw into the tomb of the risen Christ. After he witnessed the ascension of Christ into Heaven, John preached the Gospel message, and wrote the Gospel and Epistles bearing his name and also the book of Revelation. He is the only disciple believed to not have died a martyr's death.
A Disciple is a follower by definition. Those who want to follow in His example and lead the life of a Christian would want to be his disciple.
It completely depends on your Christian views. For many, the answer will be yes, as you are receiving the Body of Christ for the first time in your life, but for others, things like Conformation or Baptism may be more important, as you will then be officially a disciple of Christ.
The Bible has four books called gospels or good news, and these books are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These four books all have the true stories from Jesus' life on earth. The four books were written by four writers, Matthew a disciple of Jesus, Mark which Early Christian tradition identifies as Mark the Evangelist, who is said to have based the work on the testimony of Saint Peter. Luke a co-worker of the Apostle Paul, and John was also a disciple of Jesus.
The new testament starts with the four Gospels. Matthew Mark Luke and John they tell the story of Christ's life on earth
