Yes, infact. In the old movie The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, the little boy met a friend named Schmoo. The boy never heard of it nor have I. People's named were changed into numbers, such as A-77174 or 5B-2349. It was a racial reason to why they did such a stupid thing.
