There are 8 Gyms and 12 Gym Leaders. there is 3 in the first gym but you only battle 1 depending on the starter Pokemon you have and there is 2 in the last gym you battle iris if u hav Pokemon white and u battle the other if u hav Pokemon black
Conquer the other seven Gyms, and then you will be able to battle the Viridian Gym. Its specialty is Ground-Type Pokémon.
well it depends on the gyms. if its the first 3 gyms then u should fight all the trainers possible and fight wild Pokemon for the last 5 gyms dawn should have given you a vs seeker so you look for the trainer that gives the mostexperience and battle that trainer.
the gyms are in the citys but some are harder to get into than others
no
Well ... the whole deal with playing Pokemon is to battle the Gyms ... If you don't want to battle you can just as well go play Pokemon Pinball or something :P

You battle them. The first gym depends on your starter Pokemon so you need a super effective Pokemon.
Its mainly about battles
you can't. but you can battle the gym leaders again by going to the house left of the Pokemon center in the survival area. Hope I helped.
you can battle a gym leader as many times as you like after all 16 gyms and both leagues in the kanto region next to the 2nd kanto gym only cirten gym leaders a day
You have to go to the separate gyms. And then win each Gym battle
After you beat all the Gyms and Pokemon Leagues in all three regions, you will be able to find Groudon in the grass. PokemonCrater has unfortunately closed down. They reuploaded it but it is very laggy. Try playing Pokemon Deluge or Pokemon Vortex. They are similar to the old Pokemon Crater. Pokemon Moon is fun too
