But all three of Dorothy Gale's friends share all three qualities. And so, for example, the Tin Woodman has emotional reactions to what happens to him and to others. He also shows courage in dealing timely with challenges and problems. And he thinks through the range of options in dealing with a situation, and chooses the strategy most promising of success.
Humility, loyalty and love are the Tin Woodman's characteristics in "The Wizard of Oz."
Specifically, the Tin Woodman shows humility in being able to tell his humiliating story. He shows loyalty in becoming part of the traveling team of the five friends. He shows love in accepting that being happy is more important than being brainy.
Compassionate, loyal and practical is the kind of person that the Tin Woodman is in "The Wizard of Oz."
