The disadvantages of being a private investigator is the work hours. You may be working odd hours, late at nights, and during the day.. That depends on whom you are investigating. The work can be dangerous also. If someone thinks your following them around investigating them and it could be dangerous on whom you are investigating and the reason you are investigating.

The advantages of being a private investigator is doing the job that you love to do. Another advantage is the pay. Depends on where you live and who you work for and if you own your own business as a private investigator. The pay can be anywhere from 19,000 to 60,000 if not more it just depends on the job and your location. Another advantage; the job outlook is demanding more so than average. It is suppose to increase in job demand in the years to come.
