Firstly there are no disadvantages to becoming a parent, there may be challenges but then all of life is a challenge. Being a parent is the greatest blessing that a married couple can receive. You work together to bring up your children in a manner that will stand them in good stead when they are old enough to go out into the world.

Certainly you will not have the freedom that you had prior to having children, but that is a small sacrifice to pay. When all of your children leave the nest, you can sit back and say, "Well we did a good job" and you can feel proud of yourselves.
