The advantage of generators in parallel is that the total electrical power output of the generators are additive.
The disadvantage of generators in parallel is the additional equipment and the extra cost of that equipment, that is needed to syncronize the generators. This extra equipment also must keep the generators in parallel and not let one generator take the lead. If this happens, that generator will take the full load and probably trip off line. This action then overloads the other paralled generator an then it to will trip off line.

Advantage of AC is that they can switch high voltages from wires into low voltages for your home. We use 110 volts in our homes, but on the wires we use much higher volts so the current will be low and less energy will be converted and wasted to the heat of resistance, so high voltage needs to be converted to low voltage for our homes. Also AC is very efficient because all it needs for it to work is magnetism. The disadvantage of AC is that our CD's and DVD players work in DC, so we need diodes to switch AC to DC. Disadvantages of DC are they are less efficient and remain at the same voltage and current, so we will lose a lot of energy and therefore money from energy lost to heat at high currents. Yet advantages of DC are, like I said, they are needed for certain devices like CD players and DVD players because they work on DC. Also DC can be transferred over farther distances than AC current.

The advantages of a parallel connection, in this case, are basically analogous to connecting loads in parallel, e.g. the different devices in your home:* The voltage is always the same, and

* The system won't completely fail if one of the devices - one generator in this case - stops working.

I don't think there are any significant disadvantages to this type of connection.

If you have considered running two generators in parallel, the load gets equally distributed. Capacity utilization is better.

What are Disadvantages of parallel connection?

There are no inherent disadvantages with a parallel connection, as it does what it's supposed to do. It provides a common voltage to all branches, ensuring that devices connected in those branches operate at their rated power, and the failure of one device doesn't affect any of the others.
