Visuals, multimedia, and other slide objects play important role within a presentation, but a proper outline is still the main skeleton on which the body of a presentation can be sustained.

In PowerPoint, the co-authoring function feature allows the user to share a presentation with other people.
During an actual broadcast, they would have more specialised software. However, they could use it in other areas of their work. They could be doing some sort of presentation, like to colleagues or to students, and use a PowerPoint presentation in doing that.During an actual broadcast, they would have more specialised software. This is an interesting question. Indeed, I will always start off by creating a PowerPoint rather than a PDF file. You can always convert a PowerPoint file into the PDF format but not the other way around. This will give you more flexibility to change your content in PowerPoint than creating a PDF file in programs like Adobe Illustrator. And, a PowerPoint presentation simply works well for public speaking. You can easily go slide by slide and explain point by point. You can always easily insert movie clips and add animation to make your presentation more interactive. Thus, PowerPoint is clearly the better starting one if your final goal is to do a presentation.
Windows Movie-maker is also great for graphic presentation.
You may be talking about Microsoft PowerPoint, or a program similar to that. On this site, you can make and design various presentations, which have been slang termed "slide show"(showing multiple slides on any subject) :) Have a nice day
Besides presentations, you may use PowerPoint to create photo albums, create pictures (jpeg, gif, png, etc.), and publish in other formats (such as pdf files), Most importantly, you may print handouts of your presentation which benefits deaf attendees who cannot hear your presentation but can read your notes on paper.
You have to convert your presentation to a video. PowerPoint 2010 already has this ability: File-->Save&Send-->Create a Video older versions of PowerPoint require you to use a 3rd party application to convert your presentation into a video.
In Microsoft PowerPoint the Master Slide is the template for the other slides in the presentation. On it you can put things that are to appear on all the slides; these items will not be selectable and you will not be able to edit them when creating and editing the slides of your presentation. Go to the Help for your application (press <F1>) and search for more help. Also see related links.
