Laser printing prints using electrical charges to develop printed images on paper and the dot-matrix uses the scheme of printing dots to create images that is old printing technique. The quality of laser printing is for better than dot-matrix printing scheme. Another benefit of laser printer over dot-matrix printing is that its speed is faster than dot-matrix.
